Dave's band...

Booking information: Dave Biengtson (360) 402-2540
I first met Corky and Dave at Corky's birthday party a few years back having been invited by his daughter (Miss Marcella, whom I knew through the Karaoke World Contest.) We all brought instruments and sat on Corky's porch singing and playing till dawn.

Corky Dave and Frank
Well, as it happened, Dave was a bartender at Walt's Place and he suggested that we all get together at Walt's and jam in the future.

So, we have played at Walt's Place a few times a month for a few years now. We never practice to play, we just play.

Corky Dave and Frank
I would describe us as a folk group in the sense that we play generally modern popular music. We play because we enjoy playing, and not to be putting on a show. Friends often join us for a song or the whole night, which often spans six hours of playing. We are not for the faint of heart ...I believe we would get an R-rating for language.

Marcella
Dave and Corky sing, and Marcella often sings a few songs too if invited. Dave plays Acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, and harmonica while Corky plays an electric guitar and I play the bass (and sometimes the classic guitar.) Danny
Danny has been regularly joining us on drums until it now seems he has found a home with us. Once in a while we are joined by Pat playing the electric violin.

Dave
We are now making ourselves available for small private party's. Contact Dave Biengtson (360) 402-2540 if you would like to book us for the day or evening ...or both. Below is list of songs we do (including a few we are thinking of doing) but there are also a great number of songs which we perform ...not included in the list. (Lists such as this one always need updating and are never really official, but then, neither are we.)
